Ok jerks, who saw Wolverine this past weekend and contributed to the $87 million haul? *Raises hand* I went on Friday and was surprised to find I was watching a comedy. Maybe it was unintentional, but me and Shin Cup laughed our way through the whole movie.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty awful.

The good news is .. at least it was entertaining. And it was nowhere near as horrible as X-Men 3. And for you girl types who like your men hunky, there’s a fair amount of naked Hugh Jackman and brooding Taylor Kitsch. For you girl types who like your men attractive, you may enjoy the Ryan Reynolds and Daniel Henney. But this is not about the dreamboats, this is about the action.

Wolverine was not short on fights and explosions, but I think I’m a little sick of wire work and overused one-liners (“let’s do this.”). I would recommend bringing a flask of over-sugared slushy and play the Action Cliche drinking game — go nuts when you see overused plot points such as: man walking away from explosion, fight on roof, men fighting and then falling through glass, bad child actor, group fight with men circling protagonists. You get it.
