Woooo! I had the best weekend ever, so I just totally had to jump right in here and share. Friday I went to see Paul Westerberg. It was a pretty chill show, except that right in the middle of a slower song, his guitar cut out a little bit so he just smashed it into pieces. It was funny, but a bit excessive. Saturday I headed up to my friend Brad‘s cottage and jumped in the lake. Sunday I went to see the movie Signs. I was sooo scared! It was amazing! Go see this movie! Finally Monday, a friend and I headed down to the Area:2 festival. We didn’t have tickets, so we were planning on buying some cheap tickets and chilling on the lawn. Then, as luck would have it, a friend of mine (who was doing lighting in the DJ tent) was hanging out at the front gates and just happened to have 2 extra (his brother didn’t show up)front row tickets!(thank you little brother!) Being front row for Blue Man Group, Moby and BOWIE is an experience I will never forget. I just kept on saying ‘I can’t believe this is happening!’. Man, I’m a lucky girl.
