Wyclef asks for help in Haiti

Wyclef Jean is seeking help for the earthquake ravaged nation of Haiti.

The Haitian born musician issued a statement asking people for assistance after Tuesday’s disaster took the lives of thousands.

Wyclef said he “cannot stress enough what a human disaster this is, and idle hands will only make this tragedy worse.”

Good Samaritans Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie also issued a statement pledging their support to help the victims.

You can make a donation to the disaster relief effort by texting “Yele” to 501501, which will automatically donate $5 to the Yele Haiti Earthquake Fund. Or you can donate via the www.Yele.org website.
