You And Whose Army?

There’s no doubt in my mind that Radiohead’s summer tour is going to be HOT. Setlists like this one from last night’s show in Copenhagen confirm it. But I need to be there. I NEED to see them again! Their two shows at the Hummingbird Centre (capacity: 3200) sold out in less than a minute on Saturday. I had several friends each trying to get me just ONE ticket, to no avail.

I don’t personally know a single person who scored a ticket in Saturday’s sale. It seems to just be scalpers and ‘fans’ from other cities who are upselling their tickets at ridiculous prices. Within minutes of the on sale time, there were dozens of eBay auctions like this one offering a pair of back row tickets for $600. Mind boggling. It hurts to be a genuine fan of a band and not be able to see them because I’m unwilling to spend a paycheque on a mediocre seat. I need a Plan B to make this happen!
