So today was a slow day in the office (for me), and I was surfing around the internets minding my own business, when I stumbled on this weird website.

It’s so weird, so strange and (almost) utterly alien, that I can’t reveal it out in the open like this. So I’m putting my suspicions under the jump.

First off, you should check out the evidence again for yourself, then we can discuss it: Pompsomp Hills website?

Okay, so this LOOKS like it’s supposed to be a legitimate website for a legitimate re-hab clinic, right? But here are a few things I noticed that are off:

* The name is weird. Try saying it three times fast. What does it sound like?
* The links along the top all seem reasonable, especially the “Resources” tab. But check out the links along the BOTTOM of the page. One of them links to the wikipedia page for Hell. That’s not right.
* Maybe I’m just a word geek, but the grammar of “We Remade You” is all wrong for what they’re trying to say. Wait a sec. That phrase sounds familiar…

There is a phone number and an e-mail address too, but I haven’t tried them yet. Maybe you could, and let me know what you come up with? There’s something funny going on here…
