Because I’m about to reveal to who sings the AWESOME song featured in the newest Telus commercial, in case you didn’t already know.

It’s the new commercial, you know, the one with the cute little lovebird/parrot? And the song sounds like the type that’d be perfect for a rowdy pub singalong, with lyrics like: “Someone’s got their eye on you now / Don’t you know? Whoa oh oh oh / And I don’t want to be the one to let you know / Whoa oh oh oh”

I’ve known a few people who’ve had a barnburner of a hard time figuring it out, but as soon as I listened closely enough, I knew it smelled like The Cribs, and it was! The song’s called “Martell” and you can listen to it/watch the video over at The Cribs’ official website. Do it, cause the song’s rowdy and awesome.
