Miley, Charlie and more!
February 11th, 2014
Since the buzzworthy app Flappy Bird was taken down earlier this week, most iPhone users are breathing a sigh of relief. But there are some people out there like this YouTube user who are still in mourning.
John Herrman put together a hauntingly beautiful video of the game in super slow-mo. It’s called Requiem For a Flap because, well, the background music is freakishly similar to the movie Requiem For a Dream.
Remember that movie? It’s an artsy-fartsy kind of film about a bunch of people dealing with their addictions. Yep, there are many parallels between Requiem For a Dream and those who play(ed) Flappy Bird. So this video makes perfect sense. RIP Flappy Bird.
