You’ve got it? Good.

Move over Lil’ Kim, cos’ Lil’ Mama is in da house. I guarantee that the 17 year old rapper is going to be a household name within the next year. Her ridiculously infectious track ‘Lip Gloss’is already climbing the charts and NOW she’s teaming up with Canadian popstar Avril Lavigne for the bratty anthem ‘Girlfriend.’ Mmmhmm. Lil’ Mama turns this song around and actually makes it listenable! Who would’ve thought that ‘Girlfriend’ would be my new favourite summer tune of ’07?!? As if the remix wasn’t enough, I found out this morning that Avril reshot ‘Girlfriend’ to include Lil’ Mama…for reals…So in the next couple of weeks, be sure to see a brand spankin’ new vid from this unlikely duo on MuchAXS!

Oh and did I mention that Lil’ Mama did a remix for ‘Umbrella’? Ok, I’m done. But seriously do yourself a favour and get your hands on anything that Lil’ Mama has done because you won’t regret it…

Sidenote: Lil’ Mama’s debut record won’t even be ready till later this year – sadness :( – So for now, singles will have to do.
