Your New Favourite Band

I’m asking you - in fact, I implore you - to give The Kooks a listen and tell me you don’t ADORE their songs. These young lads have been tearing up the airwaves in the UK for the past few months and Hannah Sung had the chance to interview them at T In The Park in Scotland last month (watch the interview here). And just look at them - how cute! How cuddly!
Of the tracks I’ve heard, “Sofa Song”, “Ooh La”, “Naive” & “She Moves In Her Own Way” are my favourites. Go listen to a couple for yourself over at www.thekooks.co.uk.
Oh, and get this: a couple of weeks ago, Prefix News reported that Inside In/Inside Out is finally getting a North American release date on October 3! Yippee…so you know what that means. These kids may be touring ’round these parts sometime soon. Shout if you love The Kooks!

hahahaha i love the kooks!!! i gotta say, lately i’ve been kinda upset with the lack of music i lvoe on much but these past 2 episodes of the new music have won me back! how could it not?! we are scientists, the kooks,dirty pretty things, franzypants, wolfmother, kaiser cheifs! all in one sitting! ahh i was so proud that they were finaly getting a bit more exposure!
ha i dunno if it’s still thre but a majorly long time ago i posted a link to hear the kooks cover crazy. if you still want holla at your girl!
